"Politic.....tick.....ticks"
03/14/2022

The first thing I can remember is that I was lying in bed, in my old Lake Mary home. My bedroom light was on, and I couldn't tell whether I was drifting off to sleep or just waking up, but I had that sort of "in between states" feeling that tends to come when right on the cusp of sleep. Suddenly, the bedroom door slammed open, and a group of what I can only describe as "prominent far-right pundits and politicians" came trudging in. Apparently, they were being ushered in by someone who I'd identified as a "rival from work" (though I don't think this person represented anyone in waking life), and they all began ransacking the room, supposedly looking for something of value. By their hurried and almost cartoonishly-sinister demeanor, I could tell that they were right on the verge of some gargantuan plan coming into fruition and, for some reason, they needed something in my room to make it happen.

As they searched, I tried to pull myself out of the bed, in order to confront them. I found, though, that I could not move. I was pinned to the bed by some unseen force and, no matter how I tried, I could not come to move any of my limbs, or even raise my head far from my pillow. (It felt very much like sleep paralysis, though I couldn't make the connection, at the time.) All I could figure, was that these intruders had some apparatus of control over me, that was making me unable to move. I struggled against it, for the entire time they were in the room, and it wasn't until they all filed back out of it - leaving me unsure of whether or not they'd gotten what they were searching for - that I broke free. Now, able to throw myself out of bed, I ran to the door, to go after them. The moment that I opened the door, however, the scene completely changed.

I was, now, in what looked to be a hotel room. My fiancé and I were making the bed, and I was telling her about the events that had happened, as if they'd happened the night before. As I explained the events to her, she seemed to be familiar with the person that I'd supposedly worked with, from the story, and it was then that I realized the events I was describing to her never happened, because she doesn't really know any of my old coworkers. Because of this, I realized I was describing a dream to her, rather than a memory (though it wasn't enough to realize that I was still, in fact, dreaming as I told her this story). We hurriedly tidied the rest of the room, knowing that we were, apparently, running late to get to some important show or function, within the hotel, and that we had to leave as soon as possible.

My recollection of the dream skipped ahead, and we were coming back from whatever gathering had taken place. My daughter was with us (though she was younger than in waking life), this time, as we returned to the hotel room. Before bed, I'd noticed that she was writing something in her binders, quite intently, but I was unsure of whatever it was that had her so wrapped up in it.

Flash-forward, once again, and I was waking up in the hotel bed. (It wasn't  a full-on 'false awakening,' because it was still continuing the narrative of the current dream.) Just as the first time I'd 'awoken,' though, I found myself caught in paralysis and unable to raise myself from the bed. My fiancé and daughter were nowhere to be found. Suddenly, as before, the hotel room door burst open, and in flooded the same group of far-right provocateurs from earlier. The ransacked the room with the same fervor as they had in the first scenario, and one of them went digging ferociously through my daughter's papers. I kept trying to look over this one's shoulder, to see what might have been so important that could be found in a child's notes. However, I was still pinned to the bed, by an unseen force, and couldn't get a good vantage point.

Before long, the intruders gestured that they'd found what they were looking for, and that they were ready to "begin" whatever it was they were looking to set in motion. As if prepping for some sort of cult-like ritual, they all took up various positions, around the room - one of which was right next to the side of my bed - and laid down on the floor. They closed their eyes in unison, as if preparing to fall asleep, and remained completely still. Still pressed to the bed, I had no idea what they were doing, but I could not shake the feeling of dread creeping over me.

Abruptly, I 'woke up' again, still in the hotel bed. Though I was no longer paralyzed, I immediately knew that something was terribly wrong. My fiancé was nowhere to be found, but my daughter was asleep on her own bed. Fearful that something big was going on, I hopped out of bed and woke my daughter, taking her by the hand and rushing out of the bedroom to find my fiancé.

The moment we opened the door, though, everything 'stopped.' Rather, I should say that everything 'slowed to a crawl,' in terms of time, itself. No matter how hard we ran through the hotel hallways, we were objectively moving in slow motion. It wasn't just us, though. Everything in the hotel was happening in slow motion. People were rushing out of their hotel rooms with the same degree of urgency as we were, yet everyone was observably trapped in the same bit of temporal distortion as the two of us. Still able to think in real time, despite my limbs not following suit, I immediately knew that this was a part of whatever political masterplan was being put into effect. I noticed that the hotel architecture was changing, as we rushed through the corridors at a snail's pace. Normal hotel room doors were suddenly transforming into heavy, riveted metal doors with no handles or knobs. It was as if some entity was changing the landscape in order to try to either trap us or funnel our escape in one direction.

Up ahead, I could see the hallway opening that led to the central courtyard of the hotel. We were a few stories up, and I was pushing my legs as hard as I could, fighting through the debilitating sluggishness that we were somehow locked in, preparing to start a painfully-slow descent through the staircase. It was then that I noticed wave after wave of other hotel patrons leaping from their respective balconies within the courtyard - generally plummeting to their deaths as they fell in completely submissive positions as impacted the ground with the full force of gravity, despite their slow motion freefalling. Still in a belabored sprint, panic washed over me. I only had a moment to ponder what was happening, before I reached the threshold of the open staircase. Since I was still able to think in real-time, I felt confident that I had enough control of myself to take a leap of faith and, clutching my daughter's hand tighter, I took one leap, to clear the first section of stairway, landing with one foot on the pivotal railing before launching off of that one and descending the full four or five stories in a single bound. We touched down, softly, in the grass of the open courtyard and continued our slow-mo sprint toward the nearest exit, which would take us back through the corridors but, instead, on the ground level.

It was around this time - running into the closest covered hallway - that I began to notice the music that was permeating the environment, as if it were being pumped directly into my brain. (This dream took place in the middle of a Wake-Back-to-Bed attempt to induce a lucid dream, and I had meditative binaural music playing in my headphones as I slept. I believe that it was the slow, ambient tone of the music in the waking world that prompted the time distortion in the dream. It was very "Inception"-like.) Ahead of us, a young boy was standing outside of what seemed to have been his hotel room. Running in slow motion gave me a moment to take in his expression, and I could see that he was frantically confused, almost to the point of sobbing. In a manner that sounded like an audio tape played at a fraction of normal speed, I could hear the boy talking to himself about how he "had been in one position," and then found himself instantly shifted to "another position," as if he had witnessed a time-jump or teleportation of some kind, and could not figure out what was happening. It was in hearing this boy's bewilderment, that it solidified in my mind that this was some sort of time-loop or time-manipulation plot that was coming to pass. This was not real life. I had to be trapped in sort of "pocket dimension" or something (ala "Dr. Strange").

Continuing passed the boy, my daughter and I ran through subsequent hallways, unsure of exactly where we were going, at this point, but just running and trying to escape this horrible, surreal, situation. The further we ran, and through each subsequent room that we passed, everything seemed to be getting darker and darker, until we finally barged into one room that caused my vision to go completely black. The feeling of being in an enclosed area faded away, and all I could feel was a dark, empty void. I felt disembodied. Then, I remembered being paralyzed on the hotel bed. I remembered the invaders who came in and did their strange ritual of laying down and seeming to lose consciousness. I remembered that one of them had laid down right beside my bed.

With that logic, I had the feeling that this was a dream. However, I thought it was a dream that I was having while rendered unconscious by the political terrorists who might still be asleep, next to me, in the hotel. Still in the black void, I felt that wave of paralysis wash back over me. I could no longer feel my limbs moving, and I was surrounded by darkness. As last-ditch idea came to me: I figured that, if I could just break free of the paralysis, and roll out of bed, I might be able to land on top of one of the sleeping assailants and break whatever ritual they had going on.

Fighting against the full-body paralysis, I started trying to rock myself over onto my left side, straining against the invisible force pinning me to the bed. Finally, with one desperate push, I jerked myself off of the bed that I could, now, sense beneath me in the void, and I got the brief sensation of falling before bringing an elbow down and feeling it smash down upon the body of the personal lying unconscious on the floor.

Immediately, I awoke from the dream, and back into waking life, still in darkness before removing my sleep mask from my eyes.

(When I awoke, I was somewhat relieved that I didn't actually act out that final gesture, which - even though she sleeps on the other side of me - would have a real problem, if I'd have accidentally rolled over and dropped an elbow on my fiancé, while she slept. LOL.)

"Journey Into Sound" - 02/15/2022 (Lucid)

"Journey Into Sound"
02/15/2022
(Lucid)

(I had a pretty incredible, long, exploratory lucid dream, this morning, after waking up early to take out the trash. There was another hour and a half left before my phone alarm was set to go off, so I decided to go back to sleep and try for a WBTB lucid. My fiancé was getting set for work and I didn't want the sound keeping me awake, so I decided to put on some meditative binaural music and put my earphones in and sleep mask on - two things I hadn't done together, for years. After a few minutes, I'd drifted back off to sleep...)

The first thing I remember of the dream was being in the bathroom, with my fiancé trying to talk to me through the curtain, as she was taking a shower. (This was obviously inspired by the night before, when she was actually talking to me through the shower curtain, before bed.) In the dream, I had my headphones on, listening to what I would later come to find out was the same audio that I was listening to as I slept. The music was drowning out her voice, so I kept trying to take off my headphones, however, even when I would pull the earpieces out of my ears, I would still hear the audio coming from them. Then, I would reach up and try to pull them out of my ears again, and I would pull duplicate earbuds out, so that I was holding multiple copies of them upon every attempt. Finally, I saw that even the earphone jack was disconnected from my phone, but I was still hearing the audio in my ears.

Knowing that something was off, here, I attempted to move something on the bathroom counter with telekinesis: my go-to reality check, when I suspect I might be dreaming. The dream, though, was already very vivid, and I wasn't able to get the object (which I think was a sponge) to move. Still unsure whether this was a dream, I tried to pull back the shower curtain so that I could better understand what she was saying to me, but the curtain simply remained closed, despite my efforts, and it would not budge. Again, I knew that this wasn't right.

I looked around the bathroom, for some sort of confirmation as to whether this was a dream (still aware of the music playing in my ears). When I glanced at the mirror, I noticed that, instead of staring back at myself, my reflection was still standing where I had been, when I was trying to open the shower curtain, and facing away from me. Immediately, I knew this was a dream! Now, without a doubt, I reached one hand up and touched the mirror, in the space where my reflection should have been, and I pushed forward. My hand sank into the mirrored glass like water, and I stopped when it was about elbow deep, pulling it back out. I thought I might try crawling into the mirror, but when I tried and felt resistance - because of the dream being so vivid - I thought better of the idea, due to the risk of getting stuck and pulling myself out of the dream, completely.

Leaving the bathroom - still hearing the music in my head and recalling that it was the music I'd begun playing in my headset, when I went back to sleep - I made my way to the front door. For a moment, I thought about phasing through the door, but, again, like with the mirror, I anticipated getting stuck and jeopardizing the entire dream. Instead, I wanted to use an exit where I could already see outside, so I walked over to the nearest window. Reaching out and touching the windowsill, I ran my fingers along it, taking in the sensation of the wood frame, and grounding myself into the dream, trying to keep myself from thinking about my waking world body, so as not to get pulled back into wakefulness. Just outside of the window, I noticed something sticking out of the trash bin. It took me a few moments to realize that it was a human head. There was a dead, bald guy stuffed partially into the garbage, but, since he was close enough to touch, I merely reached out and shoved him off to one side, not wanting to fill my head with any thoughts of the dead (or the undead, since I'd been playing 'Dying Light 2', the past few nights)

I crawled out of the open window and into the back yard, walking, then, around to the front of the house. It was a pleasant, sunny, but slightly cloudy morning (just a bit less overcast as it had been, when I'd been awake and taking the trash out, before going back to bed), and the rising sun and clouds had a very saturated, painterly look to them (much like the picturesque sunrises in the Dying Light games). Suddenly, a red Nissan RX-7 (similar to one that a friend used to have) came skidding to a stop, across my lawn and driveway. An unfamiliar man immediately jumped out of the driver's side, with a shotgun, and took aim at me, from about four yards away. Still completely aware that I was dreaming, though, I was able to raise both my forearms across my torso and brace against the blast, once he pulled the trigger. I could feel a bit of a punch, but it was an otherwise painless impact.

Unfortunately, I don't quite recall how I moved on, from my attacker, but I feel like I just kinda 'force-pushed' him out of the way and walked off, to explore the dreamscape. I remember walking directly across the street from my house, and toward the neighbor's home, just to see what I might find, inside. The front room (I assume, since I've never actually seen the inside of this neighbor's house) was quaint and dimly lit, and the one thing that really stood out to me was that there were cats walking/climbing all around the place. (We have had plenty of experiences with the strays around our neighborhood.)  One of the cats came up to me, bit me on the hand - which didn't really hurt - and decided that it wanted to latch on and not lot go. (There is a hilarious story about something similar happening in a previous lucid dream of mine.) Instead of giving it any of my attention - and possibly making the "attack" worse - I just decided to ignore the cat, which eventually disappeared, and I continued exploring the small house. The back rooms were semi-dark, as well, and fairly unspecific. Things were getting rather mundane, actually, and I started trying to think of something interesting to do.

First thing that came to mind was trying to find the Dream World Academy, and I was wondering how I might get to it, from here. I moved a couple of things around, in one of the rooms, trying to "will" a portal to appear behind random objects, but to no avail. I noticed a piano, in a corner, and thought I might try the old "secret passage" concept from movies. I played a couple of notes on the piano, trying to command a door to open, somewhere. Though I don't remember whether the trick actually worked or not, the next thing I remember is walking out of a stone hallway, and back onto the street in my neighborhood.

A little frustrated with going in circles, so to speak, my attention was then drawn upward. The cloud-cover was pretty amazing, with a canopy of white rows of clouds now blanketing most of the sky. It looked vast, and awesome, and inviting. For a moment, I thought about flying up, to see if I could find a "heaven," curious as to my mind's rendition of it, but I, again, became weary of the danger of losing the dream, altogether (as it is, sometimes, tough for me to fly "above" certain altitudes, in dreams). Even at the very thought of it, I rubbed my hands together and concentrated on grounding myself even further into the dream, improving the clarity of the scene around me, in the process.

Rather than taking to the sky, I decided to focus, again, on finding the Academy. This time, instead of attempting to create portals, I thought I might try spinning the scene. Setting my intention to manifest the Academy, upon looking behind me, I quickly did a half-spin, in place. Instead of a normal, neighborhood home, I found a small, non-descript office complex. Curious, I walked to one of the window-lined buildings and stepped into an office. Most of the people that I saw, inside, were old, while folks, who all seemed very warm to my arrival. I told one lady that I was looking for the Dream World Academy, and she told me that I'd come to the right place. She said that class was just started, and that I could follow her to it. We stepped through slender, white hallways and, along the way, I passed by a girl in a hoodie, who was leaning up against a wall and reminded me of an old friend, B. It seemed as if she had been waiting for this class to start, with the way she'd removed herself from the wall and began to follow us, once we passed.

Shortly afterward, in a small, rather bland classroom, the old woman began speaking. To be honest, I can only remember that she wasn't necessarily saying anything of interest, and the girl in the hoodie was looking just as detached from the dialogue as I was. Satisfied that I had found the Academy (albeit an unconventional "version" of it), I decided to go explore some more, removing myself from the classroom and wandering the halls again. Stepping out of one glass door, and into an outdoor corridor, I noticed a large hole in the concrete sidewalk. Looking into it, I saw that there was a stone staircase, heading down into the earth, and I made my way down into it. After a short while in this compact stairwell, I found myself coming out of another hallway, right back onto the street of my neighborhood. Again, I was at ground level, after having walked down a staircase, though I had never been higher than ground level, to begin with.

I noticed that I had a piece of paper in my hand, about the size of a business card. Unconcerned with whether anything was written on it, I decided to take the moment to use it to ground myself to the dream once more, taking the paper between my fingers and running them over the surface, feeling the tiniest details of the roughness of the material. As usual, that attention to detail caused the rest of the dream to feel more solid and immersive, when I took another glance at the neighborhood around me.

Once more, the sky above the houses caught my eyes. This time, it was because I could see three or four aircraft in the distance, doing what looked like air show stunts, over the city. Their aerobatics didn't seem to conform to physics, though, as they were just aimlessly tumbling and twisting through the air, completely devoid of any sense of logic. Interested, I began to hover, just a few feet from the ground, and toward the squad of aircraft. Just when I got within about 100 yards from them, the aircraft seem to all notice me, at once, and streaked in my direction. As they came closer, they all spiraled around each other and converged in a sort of cartwheeling transformation in the air (much like Starscream, from the 'Transformers' movies), twisting themselves into a single, Super Fighter Jet, about twice the size that a real one would be.

Now, hovering, just in front of me, like a VTOL-styled jet, the aircraft seemed to be blatantly taking aim at me. Anticipating incoming fire, and still feeling quite a bit of control, I simply stuck out one hand, palm facing the jet just as a stream of heavy machinegun fire sprayed in my direction. Effortlessly, my hand deflected the onslaught without the slightest tinge of pain. Then, I brought both my hands up, swiping my palms toward each other in a 'squeezing' motion, and crushing the entire plane, from a distance, with telekinesis, before flicking the mangled heap, dismissively, down an adjacent street.

Continuing on, in my current direction, I came to the roadway's dead end. The road didn't just stop, though. It disappeared into the rolling waves of the ocean, as if the entire street had been a beach ramp, all along, and half my neighborhood (which is nowhere near the beach) had fallen away into coastal waters. I was, now, on the ocean shore, looking down one side, to see that the water had come all the way up to the buildings - which had become more the mansions and/or hotel-type buildings, that you would normally catch on a touristy beach, rather than the small, suburban homes that were surrounding me, before. The entire rear face of one building had been sheared away by the water, exposing the hollowed, derelict, concrete skeleton within the structure. Still interested in exploring, I made my way over to the building, stopping for a moment to run my hand along a wooden fence, in order to ground myself to the dream, once more. I started to reflect on just how long this dream had been lasting, and remembered to think of key points to recall, upon waking, so I wouldn't lose too many of the earlier events to memory. (The four key points that I specifically recall instilling into my mind were the headphones dream sign; finding the 'Academy;' taking on the fighter jet; and this beach scene.) It was around here, that I noticed that I could still hear the meditative music that was playing through my headphones.

Once inside the hollowed-out building, there really wasn't much to look at. It was not much more than your standard - albeit enormous - abandoned home, with one whole side completely broken away and exposed to the ocean. While on the ground floor, just a few feet away from the lapping waves that intruded well into the structure, I saw a small, wooden platform - which looked motorized - "drive" in, from the open water, do a 90-degree turn, and sort of "park itself," just near me, practically screaming an invitation to get on it. So, I did. The plank steered itself away from the mansion and began to take me up the coastline, like a powered surfboard. In the distance, I could see two nearly-identical islands, with cone-like structures jetting up from the center of each one, as if they held twin volcanoes at their centers.

I was immediately intrigued by the thought of exploring these islands but, as the plank carried me, it began moving in a more lateral motion, as if it were trying to pull me further out to sea than to the islands that hugged the coast. As this was happening, the waves began to get more and more intense, and I could feel myself losing comfort. It wasn't long before these torrential tidal waves were crashing over even the tops of the buildings on the coast, and I was getting swept in and out with the current. This was getting out of hand. I jumped off of the plank and attempted to fly the rest of the way to the islands, but even the wind, it seemed, was creating this same rhythmic swelling and receding as the waves. It, too, was threatening to pull me out toward the horizon, even as I hovered a few dozen feet over the angry sea.

My anxiety was rising, and I was feeling less and less control of the situation. I even began sinking, out of the air, finding it hard to keep my levitation going. Knowing that I didn't want to find myself submerged in this writhing ocean, I waited until the moment my feet touched down on the surface of the water and gave myself one, desperate 'push', back into the air, executing a super-jump that, luckily, carried me over the rest of the water and allowed me to land upon the nearest island. The last thing I remember seeing was the broken barricade of an entrance to an underground mine, as well as the mouth of a separate, nearby cave, which continued straight into the volcanic mountainside, in front of me. As I stared at the two, rather ominous holes to the earth, thinking about which, if either, to explore, I heard the alarm on my phone ringing out - the sound seeping into the dream and replacing the soothing, ambient music that had been playing, throughout.

I awoke, immediately.

(Side-Note:
As a bonus: the very next day, after having had such success with having my headphones on, I decided to try the same setup, waking up early and then putting on my headphones, to the same, meditative music, then attempting another Wake-Back-to-Method. The dream was much less eventful, so I won't write the whole thing out but, just as before, I had my headphones on, while in the dream. When I tried to take them out of my ears, just as before, they were simply multiplying as one earbud would be in my fingers, and its copy would still remain in my ear, and the music would continue playing. I instantly became lucid, in that dream, as well, making it two days in a row.

I did try, once again, this morning, to make it a third time, but I wasn't able to remember anything but a small dream fragment, upon waking. No lucidity, on the last attempt, but this will definitely be something I attempt again, in the future.)

"Bad Moon" - 04/14/2008 (Lucid)

”Bad Moon”
04/14/2008
(Lucid)

(I swear, it’s fun to experiment with B6 and dreams, but sometimes it’s just not worth the consequences. This was, easily, the most brutal, intense, violent dream I’ve had in a while. I’d taken some B6 and melatonin before bed, making the dream incredibly vivid (and painful). It also didn’t help that the last thing on my t.v., last night, was a werewolf flick called 'Bad Moon'. I was hardly even watching it. It was just on, and I caught a few glimpses of it, here and there.)

I was dreaming about an old coworker, Jane*. Her boyfriend had broken up with her, and we happened to start getting really close. At first, we were lying around, watching abstract visualizations on a huge screen - kind of like the Windows Media Player visualizations, but much more complex and engaging - along with the orchestra music, and it was very relaxing. We were settled against each other and beginning to fall asleep. Moments later, we were in bed, still listening to the music and just talking softly to each other. (This would have been a very unlikely pairing, in waking life, so it was actually kind of uncomfortable to me that we were this close, in the dream.) Nothing really happened, between us, though. We just lay there in bed, together, drifting off.

The dream switched to a third-person view, and I could see that I didn’t look like myself. I looked like someone else. I then saw this same guy - who had previously been me - with Jane*, in different camera shots, like a trailer for some dark movie. He was moving through the woods, and I could see that he had a strange shape to his face. Eventually, he came upon a large house, into which, he soon found himself abducted. Upon his entrapment, some sort of situation went down, and I caught an image of the heat from some kind of intricate furnace being pumped throughout this house, seeping through the walls and everything. Apparently, any contact with the smoke in the air made all of the people that already lived at the house transform into werewolves – the intelligently-speaking, but ultimately f*cking badass kind. The newcomer didn’t stand a chance. He was immediately cornered and torn apart.

I remember something about telling Jane* what I had seen, after the dream switched back to first person. (I never got another look at myself to see if I still looked like that guy or not.) She was immediately terrified, and struck with an ominous sense of recognition. She wound up confessing something about how the werewolves were real, and that they were apart of her family lineage. I don’t recall exactly how that explanation transpired, but I’m pretty sure that’s what it equated to.

The dream skipped ahead and, for some reason, I was actually entering that same house from the vision, earlier. It was still in first-person, and I seemed to be my normal "self," this time. I didn’t recognize the house, at first, though, so I wasn’t really alarmed. I had my daughter with me, and I think we were looking for a place to stay the night. Initially, things went alright. We met the owner of the manor, who had a bit of a creepy air about him – something like Bram Stoker’s Dracula, maybe - but, still, nothing set off any bells. It wasn’t until we were getting situated in our room, that I got another vision. I saw the network of pipes and tunnels; the orange light of a burner furnace, and the thick, glowing smoke being pumped through the shafts. Everything came rushing back to me, and I immediately knew what was about to happen.

I knew it would be impossible for my daughter and I to get out of the house in time, so I snatched her up from her bed and darted to another room. Miraculously finding some secret compartment in a wall, just big enough for her, I rushed her inside and told her to stay there, and to keep quiet, no matter what she heard from outside. Then, I pushed the huge brass(?) block back in the way of the hole. I ran as fast as I could, as far as I could from that room, knowing that, if I was going to be caught, I definitely didn’t want the werewolves knowing where I'd hid her. Passing the most unsecured hiding spots, I came to a room at the end of a hallway. It had a closed door across from me and a closet door in the corner. As a last ditch effort, I headed straight for the closet door. Just before reaching it, I’d gotten a really bad feeling that I’d chosen the wrong direction to run.

The very instant that thought entered my head, the door that was across from the hallway I came in through burst open. Inward stalked three huge werewolves, standing upright. I instantly turned around and ran back the other way, crossing in front of them and hauling ass back down the hallway. I heard one of them order the others to get me, and I could hear them sprinting down the hall after me. It didn’t take long for them to catch up to me, and they began mauling me, slashing and biting at me while I tried my hardest to stay on my feet. The dream was was so vivid that I could feel their bristles of hair on their bodies, and their teeth felt like sandpaper grinding my flesh. Suddenly, out of sheer desperation and panic, I came to a welcomed realization. I yelled out “This is a dream!! I’M DREAMING!!” ‘Elated’ doesn’t even begin to describe how I felt, just then!! After having been completely overpowered by these werewolves, I now began to take them on, no longer afraid of them. I’d noticed that, now, they had shrunk in size – to about that of Rottweilers, and now walking on all fours like dogs, but they were still incredibly vicious. My lucidity was still low, and I didn’t really have time to think, at all. These things were all over me, and they were just so damn fast, but I didn’t shy away from them anymore. They would tear painfully at my arms and legs, and I would pick one up and grab both its jaws, ripping it open and snapping its head backward onto itself. More of them came running into the room and, at one point, there were at least four or five of these dog/wolves on me, simultaneously.

The room we were fighting in had shifted into the joined living room and kitchen area of the place I used to share with my ex. Violently fighting off these wolves, I staggered to the kitchen and grabbed a butcher's knife. Things got really gory as I began slashing and stabbing as many of these damned things as I could get my hands on. They were still tearing me up, though – and make no mistake, when they bit me, it hurt. What made it worse was that these things JUST DIDN’T DIE. They were freaking indestructible. Obviously, the “silver” thing didn’t work with kitchenware because the knife wasn’t doing a damned thing. I would be tearing these things apart – cutting them practically to ribbons until I was soaked in both my blood and theirs, and they just kept attacking. In the middle of the fray, I picked one of them up by the front legs, and swung it down, back first, toward the back of a chair, folding its body over the chair back and breaking the wolf’s spine. I picked up another one and held a front leg in one hand, and a rear leg in another, and swung the beast down onto one of my knees, breaking its spine over my leg. Another one jumped me and I went to stabbing at it like crazy with the knife, finally breaking its skull by ripping its jaw apart, as I did with one of the first ones.

Finally, I realized that I had time to actually breathe (so to speak). The attack had lulled. I looked around the room and saw the more seriously injured werewolves still trying to get back on their feet. Now was the first chance I had to try to ground myself into the dream by looking at my hands. It didn’t really increase the vividness, though, because everything was already incredibly vivid. I looked up, across the dividing shelf, now that I was back in the living room, and I could see three figures standing in the kitchen. Three of the werewolves had changed back into human form…and they were women - very attractive women, actually. They were breathing heavily and they - especially one, in particular - looked absolutely terrified of me, which seemed to be the reason why they were hiding behind the divider that separated the kitchen and living room. The other - visibly mutilated – werewolves didn’t transform into humans, but they were definitely not in any hurry to attack me, neither. The woman in the middle began talking to me. I can’t remember what she said, but it was something about how I was like some kind of "monster," because I was able to take on all of them at one time. She had this sort of awe-struck look on her face, like she was standing in front of a god. The one standing on her right still looked scared shitless - as if, if I would have taken one step toward her, she would have broken through the wall just to get away from me.

The one that did the talking began giving me some sob story, obviously to keep me from killing them. She started going off about how it’s not their fault that they are what they are and do what they do. She told me about how werewolves killed her family before she became one, and yadda yadda. I don’t even remember if I was actually listening to her with any sort of pity, or wondering what I was going to do next with the rest of my dream time, but the dream faded in the middle of her monologue.

(I woke up covered in sweat, with only about 3 ½ hours of sleep, but I had to get up and write this dream out. It was already 8:30, though, because I didn’t go to sleep until late, so there’s no going back to sleep now.)

Last Night's Dreams, in One Sentence - 06/30/2021

"Arachnoception" - 11/15/2010 (Lucid + FAs)

"Arachnoception"
11/15/2010
(Lucid+FAs)

(Got a lucid dream for my birthday. Just wish it would have been a more pleasant one. Usually, I will count false awakenings as separate dreams, but since this is all so continuous, and had such a "dreams within dreams" feeling, I will count it as one.

Having just gotten a copy of Inception, I decided to watch it last night, while going to bed, to try to induce something Inception-related. Seems like I got more than I bargained for...)

I can barely remember the early parts of this dream, but I was driving through DeLand, with JH. We were taking the road that passes the landfill, on the way back over to my side of town. For some reason, though, we had to take a detour through the landfill. While driving through it, we apparently stumbled upon some kind of criminal(?) element and were dragged out of the car, at gunpoint. We were taken inside the facility, and the only thing I remember, here, is that I was in what I think was a bathroom, and I got attacked by some sort of creature. It was about the size of a rat, and I believe its body wasn't actually organic. It seemed to be something of a shell, made out of what I think was a child's toy. From within the object, spider-leg-like tendrils protruded, which served as both legs and powerful pincers. It reminded me a lot of the creeping coffins, from "Lords of Shadow" (which I have been playing, lately), except much smaller in size. I had to fight like hell, to keep this thing off of me, but I eventually got away from it. Not much longer after that, the cops showed up and raided the compound, starting a huge firefight. In the fray, we were able to escape, and I vaguely remember a random, small dog being killed, during the fight.

[False Awakening #1]

The next thing I knew, I was waking up, in my bed. It was still night out, and 'Inception' was still playing on my computer. After a moment, I stepped out of bed, and I was immediately ambushed by the "creeping toy" creature, from the previous dream. It came from out of nowhere and ran up my leg, biting and scratching with its pinchers/legs. This thing fought with all the ferocity of a rabid squirrel, and I could not get it off of me. My leg was getting mangled by the little creature, and it hurt like Hell.

[False Awakening #2]

Once again, though, I woke up in my bed. The pest from the dream was nowhere in sight. However, this time, I got out of bed and was met with a dull pain in my leg. Switching on the light, I saw that my leg had bruises in like 6 different places, and it was throbbing. My muscles were progressively tightening, and I could instantly tell that there was venom running through it. I was so confused, though. I knew it had to have been a dream. Right? Hobbling out of bed, I made my way over to my mom's side of the house, surprised to see that she was up this early. My leg was growing worse, when I showed her - dark, black spots showing up, and the skin tightening to where you could start to see the shapes of the tendons. She kind of shrugged it off, and said it would be ok if I just didn't mess with it. More bewildered about the whole thing, than anything else, I just walked back to my room and went back to bed.

[False Awakening #3]

And, once again, I awoke in my bed. The pain in my leg was gone, as was any sign of the bruises. So, naturally, I assumed that it had all just been a dream. But, again, just as I stepped out of bed, I was attacked by the creature from the "previous" dream. It scurried up through my robe and around my back. It never bit me, this time, but its steps were like thousands of thick fingernail jabs, themselves, scrambling all around the upper part of my body. I was able to get a hold of the thing and grab its "legs," holding them open so that they couldn't form the pincers that they had, before. This thing was strong, like a tiny bear trap, but I held the tendrils open, again making my way to show it to my mom. By this time, I didn't know WTF was going on, and I just wanted to know that I wasn't going crazy. On my way out of my room, I passed my pet dog...oblivious to the fact that I don't actually have a pet dog. I did, however, think that it was strange that I recognized the dog as the little dog who'd gotten killed, in the "first" dream. Unfortunately, I already had my hands full, and I didn't stop long enough to realize this as a dream sign. Instead, I took the creature over to my mom's room to show her. She looked down at my hands, then back up at me, then back down at my hands. She said..."that's just dead skin," with a confused look of concern on her face. I looked down, and saw that she was right. I was just holding a handful of what looked like gator hide.

By this time, I thought I'd completely lost my mind. Apparently, my mom did, too. She cocked an eyebrow at me and said "Uhh...I have some pills or something...if you need them?" implying that she was afraid I'd completely cracked. Puzzled beyond all hope, I just turned around and walked back to my room. I kept thinking about 'Inception' and that, maybe, the idea had somehow been planted into my mind that this spider-thing existed, when it really didn't. I just felt really defeated by my lack of understanding of the whole thing, and I just went back to sleep.

The next thing I knew, it was the middle of the day. I was talkin with some guys I was unfamiliar with, whom my mom had let into the house. Throughout the time they were here, we'd gotten into smoking. We pretty much just hung around the house for a while, and I tried telling them about the dreams I'd been having lately - about the crazy little monster thing. Nobody seemed all that interested, though. Later, the same guys and I were heading out, somewhere. We'd gotten into the car, when one of them said he left something inside the house, tossing a huge bag of smoke into the car, before walking back to get whatever it was. I kept yelling at him to hurry up, because I didn't want to be just sitting here, with the huge sack in the car. He was just taking his sweet time, though, and it was annoying the hell out of me.

Of course, just as I was beginning to suspect there might be cops nearby, I heard "WOOP-WOOP," a siren barking at us from behind. I actually can't remember if I was driving or not, but we sped off, down the road, with the cops chasing us. We were driving in a slick sports car, and just hauling ass, but they were catching up. (Been playing a bit of Grand Theft Auto, also. Haha.) The guy next to me started freaking out and dumping all kinds of contraband out the window - everything from weed to small bags of cocaine which I didn't even know were in the car. In a quick, 3rd-person view, I saw the white powder blowing all over the people on the sides of the road. It was actually pretty hilarious. Suddenly, back in first-person, I got an idea. We pulled over, and I waited for the cops to come within a stone's-throw from our tail, before chucking a bag of coke at their windshield, at the last moment. It blotted out most of the glass, and they ended up swerving to miss our car and crashing into some nearby pedestrians. Then, for the first time, after all of this chaos, I realized just how absurd all of this actually was. I realized that this had to be a dream.

The other guy in the car was still freaking out, telling me that we had to get the hell out of there. I just laughed and told him to relax, stepping over to the crashed police SUV. Gathering all my focus, I reached a fist up over my head and swung it downward, trying to destroy the engine block, like I'd done to other cars, in previous lucid dreams. This time, though, I was only able to dent the hood. It was a little more superhuman than waking life, but not what I expected. I tried a few more times, swinging heavy punches at the hood and grille, but I couldn't get any more damage than about what a baseball bat might have done. Needless to say, I wasn't very happy with this. I was determined, though. I kept thinking that the cops might try to shoot me, through the windshield, but I was already prepared to either dodge the bullets or just let them hit me. Thinking that there had to be some other way to get through to the engine, the idea just kind of struck me: A light-saber! I had never created one, while lucid, so I figured that this would be a good time to try. Holding my hands up, beside me, as if gripping a sword, I tried to materialize the weapon out of thin air, imaging it growing to length. Nothing happened, though. The dream was very vivid, and I was having a hard time controlling it.

As if by my cue, the cop in the passenger seat held up a blue light-saber of his own, grinning behind the powder-covered windshield. Now, even more determined to have one, I made a motion as if it was already in my hand, stabbing directly at the grille while trying hard to visualize the weapon coming into existence. Finally, I saw the orange glow. The tip of the blazing saber burned into the grill like it was paper, eating through the metal and sinking further into the engine block. I gave a quick tug of my arms, drawing the blade sideways and widening the hole, completely putting the truck out of commission. My accomplice and I then hopped back in the car and prepared to take off again but, instead, I simply woke up for real.

(After a few reality checks - which I should have done, the first few times I 'woke up' - I got up and started jotting notes down.

This felt like a B6-enhanced dream - very vivid and chaotic - but I didn't take any B6 before bed. Most likely, it was the Reese's Cups I ate, late last night. It would have been nice to just have had a bad-ass lucid, but all that shit with the spider-creature-thing just made the whole thing unpleasant. It was still early as hell, but I didn't bother going back to sleep, after this one.)

"Invincible" - 01/25/2007 (Lucid)

”Invincible”
01/25/2007
Dream #1
(Lucid)
(HAHAHAHA. Oh my God. I just had another good one. With the holidays over, I’ve recently started hitting the gym pretty hard, again. I’ve noticed that when I’ve been good to my body and mind, I get more lucids. Seems like common sense, I know, but I feel it’s worth noting. Anyway… )

So, this dream started in someone’s garage. I was a disembodied spectator, at first, and I saw that my mom had stolen some money from the Wrong People. She had dug a hole in the ground, in the garage (which was weird, because the ground is concrete and she was only using a shovel) and was burying the money in it. She heard some people coming, and the garage door began opening so, impossibly quick, she buried herself in the hole, along with the money and a shotgun, in case she needed to surprise her pursuers. When the garage opened, a bunch of cars and a school bus came up into the driveway. This is when the dream switched to first person, and my recall skips ahead a little bit.

There was now a birthday party going on, in the garage, where a bunch of kids; their parents; and I were playing party games (which explained the school bus). Somehow, I knew something about the money and that the amount that mom had buried herself with was only a portion of it. Another car slowly pulled up into the driveway and a squad of mob-looking guys stepped out with their guns drawn. They walked up into the garage and started swinging their guns around at everyone, asking about their money. Of course no one else knew what they were talking about.

I, pretty sure there was about to be a bloodbath, finally spoke up. I took one of the men in the house and grabbed a bag full of cash, and gave it to him. As we were walking back to the garage I said something like, “Ok you’ve got your money. You’re going to let us go, right? These are just kids.” The guy was like “I can’t do that. You’re all witnesses.”

They stood somewhat in the center of our crowd, as we made a sort of ring around them, everyone too afraid to run away. Even the children were cringing and sobbing. Many of us, every time a gun barrel would aim in our direction, would discretely try to position ourselves behind the person standing next to us (which reminds me of a scene in a dream I had a while back, I just can’t remember which one). I forgot how, but one of the girls was able to talk the lead guy into letting her take the smallest child inside. Then, somehow, things turned around, and the gang decided not to kill us. They were going to take us with them and hold us hostage, instead. I dunno if I can’t remember why they decided this, or if there was just never a reason given.

Next thing I knew, though, we were driving down the highway in the school bus. I was sitting in the very back seat and the mob car was behind us. I was nervous as hell, sitting by the window, because I remembered (though I don’t really remember him saying it) that the lead guy had told us that, should we try anything funny, they’d open fire into the back of the bus, and I knew I was the first person that would be hit.

After driving for a while, the dream shifted again (I hate that I don’t know whether my dreams actually skip, or there are just gaps in my recall) and we, in the bus, were sitting outside of this nightclub. Everything was dead silent and I was still in the back, absolutely fuming mad about there being nothing any of us could do to get us out of the situation we were in. It was in having this moment to myself, to think, that I realized that all of this was a dream. I didn’t even do any reality checks to confirm it. (I am glad that I’m becoming more familiar with just knowing when I’m dreaming, by the feeling itself, and not having to confirm it) I don’t even think I looked at my hands to stabilize the dream, because it was already vivid enough, and I only had one thing on my mind: I was pissed at having been completely humiliated by these DCs.

I stood up and just walked off of the bus. I know there was a guy that was outside guarding us, but I don’t remember how exactly I got past him. I was soon barging into the club, like I was the terminator, eyes focused and scanning around for the rest of these men. The décor was completely unfamiliar, as far as I know, but the place was dominated by soft purple and gold lights. I saw the first guy in the hallway and, before he could do anything, I grabbed him by the face and slammed him back against the wall. He went down without much of a fight. Turning the corner, I came to the main room, two men suddenly standing up as soon as they saw me, drawing their guns. I turned my attention to the man on my left and he shot first. I reached up and caught his bullet in mid-air -- I could actually feel it, like an ant bite, when it hit my palm. I dropped the bullet and he shot, again. I caught the second bullet and slung my arm back at him, imagining the bullet hitting him in the chest - which it did, taking him down. I continued walking (which I hadn’t stopped doing since I came in the room) toward the man a few yards in front of me. People around the club were ducking for cover from the gunshots and flattening themselves against the walls, away from us. The man fired once or twice and, again, I caught the bullet(s).

Then, one of the kids from the bus wandered into the club. I stopped and looked back at the kid (whose position was at about 5 o’clock, in relation to where I was now standing), then looked back at the guy with the gun. I taunted him by saying something like “Hey look, it’s one of your hostages. If you gotta go, you might as well take somebody with you, right?” The gunman, not really knowing what to do, whipped his gun over at the kid and pulled the trigger. I dove to the side, covering a good five yards, in an instant, and catching the bullet before it hit the child. The man yelled out something like “You monster!!” and started shooting at me repeatedly, as I continued walking toward him, catching and swatting away every bullet that came in my direction. I stopped right in front of him and put my hands down, and decided to give him a free shot, while affirming to myself that I was, indeed, invincible. He put the barrel about three inches away from my forehead and pulled the trigger. It felt like someone had merely flicked me in the forehead with their finger. Ha! Oh, to see the look on that guy’s face!

I reached out and grabbed him by the collar, spun around and threw him behind me, straight out the front door of the club - which was now, mysteriously, directly behind me, instead of around the corner like it had been, earlier. I walked back outside the club to look for him and, as soon as I stepped out the door, I turned to the side and saw a car heading straight for me. It was the gunman, of course. Fully confident in my level of control, I planted my feet and pushed forward with my hands, completely smashing in the front of his car and bringing it to an immediate stop. Then, for good measure, I ripped open his hood and smashed my palm down through his air filter, flattening the top half of his engine. When I walked around to the side his car, he had already gotten out and was running away from me, terrified, and heading (for some reason) toward a lake that was a good 100 yards away, and he had a damned-good head start. I tried a super-speed run, to catch up with him, by focusing on the area a few feet in front of him and sprinting toward it. I was moving really fast, but not really 'The Flash' fast, just as the man jumped into the lake and started swimming his little heart out. Lol.

So, being a good 50-ft or so away from the water, I jumped into the air and levitated over to him, dropping down into the water right in front of him and grabbing him by the shirt. The water was only waist deep so, at first, I started guiding him out of the lake on his feet but, then, just to show-off a little more (why is showing off to DC’s so much fun, knowing they aren’t real? Haha) I said “And just to show you what you were up against…” then I flew up out of the water and directly toward the tree I had passed under while running after him. I dragged him through the tree - the branches smacking and scratching against his face, while I didn’t even feel them. Finally, being as high as the tree itself, after coming out the other side, I slung the guy down toward his own car so hard that his body smashed up the back end just as much as the front had been.

I landed in the parking lot and all the kids and parents and club-goers that had been outside watching started cheering and giving me props (which, again, is always satisfying, even when you're aware that they aren't real). Some time during the aftermath, I'd lost lucidity; the cops showed up; the bad guys were arrested; and all was right with the world.

(Woke up at about 4:30, almost too excited to even think about going back to sleep. I wrote down the notes for this dream and went back to bed, trying to induce another lucid dream with the WBTB method. I did have a few dream fragments, afterward, but none of them lucid.)

"Psycho-Science Incorporated" - 04/19/2021 (Lucid)

"Psycho-Science Incorporated"
04/19/2021
(Lucid)

(There were a lot of parallels between the building in this dream, and the AAA Headquarters building, where I previously worked. It was a large, scenic office building, shared by two associate entities, with a sort of mirrored architecture, where the front and back sides of the building were almost identical. I'd also fallen asleep after playing some Final Fantasy VII Remake, which my girlfriend rightly acknowledged might have influenced the whole "bio-engineering" aspect of the dream.)

Working in the "front side" of this expansive office building, in this dream, my crew and I really hadn't much knowledge of what went on in the company that shared the opposite end of the complex. I remember vague footage of them having a mysterious CEO who was known for going on these periodic "retreats," where he would just disappear for a while, with no contact with the rest of the world. Not long after one of these announcements had been made, I found myself having to get around to the back side of the building (for some reason I can't remember), and deciding to just walk through the other company's office space, instead of going around the entire perimeter, outside.

I pushed in the two, heavy doors that separated us via a connecting hallway, and immediately stepped into a large, white room (which looked a lot like some of the broader phone rooms in the AAA building). Trying not to make too much of a spectacle of myself, I quickly shuffled through the room, toward the far wall, maybe 50 yards away from where I'd entered. It was only when I was about halfway through the room that I began to take notice of my surroundings and the employees within it. Each employee was standing at their own podium, in paralleled formations on opposite sides of the room. They were wearing lab coats and each working on their own specific projects. The further that I got into the room, the more I began to take in what it looked like they were doing.

On each podium was some sort of grotesque, bio-engineering experiment. Everything from animals to human babies were being unceremoniously dissected and spliced with other organisms or mechanizations. I was so stunned by what I was seeing, that by the time I'd progressed to a reasonable level of concern, I was already on the far side of the large room, and in front of the elevator. Not 100% sure that I walked into it on my own accord, I'm feeling more that I was sort of ushered, hurriedly into the elevator. Whatever the case, it was taking me down (into what would have been the parking garage, at my old job).

When the elevator door opened, I was in a dimly-lit, industrial area. It took a moment - and a few steps inside - before I realized that this wasn't a parking garage, at all. There was a sense of dread, here, as I looked around, spotting blood-stained walls and steel-barred holding stations. Still in a state of shock, my feet were carrying me around this room, even though I instantly knew that I shouldn't be here. It wasn't until a few moments later, that I began to notice the severed body parts and other human remains that were strewn about the ground. This place was a dungeon, and it was a thousand times worse than anything I was seeing on the surface. Just when I was finally about to make my turn to get the hell out of this place, I was cornered by some agency employees, standing between me and the elevator. Once I made it blatantly clear to them that I was going to be leaving this place - one way or another - the employees brought in backup. That backup came in the form of a grizzly bear-sized human / dog chimera; it was a disgusting-looking creature that resembled a gigantic, human baby with pale, hairless skin and facial features that looked like they were constantly mutating from human, to dog - and back again - like molding clay which was constantly being sculpted as the creature stepped passed the line of employees and lumbered toward me.

I can't quite recall how violent the encounter was, but I know that I was able to fight like Hell and was soon scrambling into the elevator and making my way back up to the ground floor. Once back in the large, main room, I shuffled quickly across the office / lab, trying to keep a low profile, despite my state of terror, but I could clearly see the more-menacing stares coming from the other employees as they looked up at me from their experiments.

Only slightly relieved to be out of that lab, I was able to make it back to my company's portion of the building, frantically trying to explain to everyone about the evil, twisted corporation we shared space with. No one seemed the slightest bit interested, though. However, at some point during my ranting, I realized the absurdity of the entire situation. Eventually, I realized that this was all a dream and became lucid.

As is often the case, when I become lucid during some sort of "big bad" situation such as this, I began to set my mind on walking right back into that office and laying waste to their entire operation. Sure, I knew it was just a dream, but that's a level of satisfaction that I can rarely turn down. This time, instead of walking through the building, I decided to go around the perimeter and approach the other company from the outside. Apparently, though, many of my coworkers had gotten intrigued by my mission, and they'd formed a very large entourage behind me which, oddly, included my mother and one of my cousins. I wasn't sure what kind of Hell was going to break loose, once I started to storm this place, so I tried to lead the pack and get the rest of my dream character posse to hang back, while I scoped things out. My mother and cousin, though, especially, seemed a little too gung-ho and started trying to rush their way inside and to the nearest elevator.

Despite my warnings, they hopped into the elevator, and I ran in with them. We were taken back down to the basement. The first thing I saw, once we stepped into the dungeon-esque holding facility, was an employee mutilating a young woman who seemed to be coming off of her sedative. The coat-clad man was taking a saw to one of her legs and just mercilessly grinding away on it, tearing through the flesh and bone as she wailed in agony. The intensity of the scenario kept making me lose focus and forget that I was dreaming, prompting us to get caught by armed guards and taken to what looked like a small classroom or presentation room, surrounded by men with rifles. While being shoved down into a seat, I began to suspect, again, that I was dreaming. Motioning toward a nearby chair with a point of my index finger, I attempted to move the chair with my mind. It took a couple of discrete attempts, but I was able to nudge it with telekinesis, confirming to me, once again, that I was dreaming.

Immediately, I reached my hand out in front of me and focused on one of the armed men across the room, snatching the rifle out of his hand with telekinesis and pulling it over to me. When I caught the weapon and began to fire upon all of the guards, the gun was shooting large, plastic cannon balls, with heavy *chunk* *chunk* sounds, like the cannon games you might find at a carnival game booth. With this gun being pretty much harmless, I tried to snatch an even more high-tech looking gun from another guard, from yards away. Once I caught his gun, I could see that it was actually just a high-tech video camera. Finding it useless, I simply decided to rely on my telekinesis and starting throwing guards this way and that, around the room, while all of my tag-alongs escaped.

We fanned out through the office building, trying to find the exit, ending up near the expansive, wall-length windows that I had seen, upon my first entry into the lab - though it was now dark, outside. Unable to find a door to let us out, I walked over to one of the windows and slid one finger across it, trying to slice my way through the glass like a razor. As vivid as this dream was, though, I was unable to gain that level of control. Instead, I placed both hands upon the glass and began to vibrate them quickly, attempting to shatter the glass, rather than cutting through it. This was much easier, and a large panel of the glass wall smashed to the floor, allowing us all to flood out into the parking lot.

We all converged on our side of the building, and I began to lose lucidity again while we talked about our experiences inside. One girl - sobbing - said "look what they did to me!" She, then, held up her bloody, severed forearm, showing that they'd already began chopping her up, as they'd done the other girl that I'd seen in the basement. Suddenly, more armed guards came streaming out of the building and opened fire on our entire group. We scattered, once again, and I'd happened to catch a glimpse of the CEO from earlier in the dream, watching us - discretely - from atop a bicycle, beneath a nearby tree, as if he'd just been observing this whole ordeal. Remembering his face from before, I once again remembered that this was all a dream. My lucidity had returned, and the last thing I remember was - once again - storming back over to the building and the armed guards now waiting outside, with the intention to continue to take them on.

"Jedi Justice" - 02/07/2013 (Lucid)

”Jedi Justice”

Dream #1
(Lucid)

The first thing I remember about this dream was sex with an old flame. In the middle of it, for some reason, I had left the room and gone into the kitchen. My mom was in the kitchen, and she started telling me about what she'd been cooking, so I got hungry (and distracted) and made myself a plate, having to put both the food and the BBQ sauce in the microwave, because they were both apparently too cold to eat. I went back in the bedroom, set the food down on my desk, and my lady-friend and I picked up right where we'd left off.

Later, after she had gone to sleep, I was BSing with some friends, in a dorm-like room. Something happened where I had to store something away in the bedroom, before too many people got a hold of it, but I don’t remember what it was. A few of the guys began to follow me into the room, but I quickly ushered them out because the girl was sleeping. The two friends I was with were in a huge rush to go ‘somewhere’, but didn’t seem to be able to settle on where it was they wanted to go. We all ended up arguing over what we were going to do with our time.

Before long, we were out on a highway at night, walking around instead of driving. There was a motorcycle that had been left alone, in a median, and we all stepped over to get a good look at it, thinking about taking it for a joyride. Out of nowhere, this chick looking like Michonne, from "The Walking Dead" came riding up on a bike of her own. Seeming to know that we were thinking about stealing the other bike, she kicked it over, off of the median, and it fell into a (quite random) ice-covered puddle on the overpass, sinking beneath the street. Not wanting to be connected to this destruction of property, my group and I ran like Hell.

We got back to our (now, futuristic-looking) school area, trying to keep a low profile so that we wouldn’t be tracked down over the incident with the fallen motorcycle. The downstairs lobby of this place was enormous, and it was there that I became lucid, while trying to keep myself out of sight of the authorities that I know were going to be chasing us. I attempted to fly up to the high, second floor, where our dorms were, but couldn’t stay off the ground. Slightly frustrated at this, I ended up taking the stairs. Moving through the hallways, I passed a classroom with a gorgeous, dirty-blonde co-ed and took her with me into a nearby bathroom stall.

I was pretty aggressive with her, at first, but it seemed that she wasn’t into it, at all. The more I pressed myself against her and my hands moved about her body, the more she froze up and shuddered, staring at me with wide, frightened eyes, as if she wanted me to stop but was too afraid to say anything. After a moment of attempted foreplay, it all just seemed way too creepy, and almost like I was trying to assault her. Even though I knew this was just a dream, I decided to back away from the situation and left the bathroom stall. An enormous group of other DC’s had gathered outside the stall, obviously responding to the girl’s non-vocal 'distress'. So, I just willed myself to ‘superspeed-dash’ right through them, coming out on the backside of the mob and continuing on to walk through the hallways, meeting up with my friends from earlier.

It wasn’t long before the ‘cops’ found us and began trying to attack us…with lightsabers, of all things. And enormous lightsaber/Force battle broke out - myself using telekinesis to strip men of their lightsabers to use against them. At one point, one of the agents threw his own lightsaber toward a disarmed partner, and I used my own lucid telekinesis to redirect the sheathed saber over toward myself, while it was in mid-air, then having two sabers to rip through the remaining police force with. Most of the fighting involved quick, evasive attacks while I was running through the lobby, away from the growing number of patrolmen.

I remember one instance of the dream beginning to fade, so I looked at my hands (which were, at first, all green and gooey, as if they were melting) and quickly began to bring things back into focus. After all of the opponents had been defeated, I took some time out to recall of the things that had happened in the dream, so far, knowing that I would have to try to wake myself up soon, so I could remember it all. It wasn't long after this before the dream ended, on its own.
